Charles grew up singing country music in his fathers band but quit singing for a while after his father died. Charles and Jareta were married in 1986 and music became a big part of their lives again in 1992 when Charles started writing songs. He started out writing country songs and won a couple of songwriting contests. But their focus changed after Charles developed cancer (non-hodgkins lymphoma) in 1994. After two years of treatments for two reoccurances God miraculously healed him, saved his soul, called him to preach and put them in the ministry. Now they only sing and write gospel music.

Jareta grew up playing the piano and singing hymns in her home church. She was saved when she was eight years old at Hamlet Baptist Church in Benton Ky. She says, "I can still remember what it felt like when the Lord was knocking on my hearts door! That's a day I'll never forget. I am honored and humbled to be a part of this ministry and serve the Lord daily."

Wayne grew up singing gospel music and accepted Jesus as his Savior around the age of eleven during a revival. But it was during his teen years while singing in the youth choir, that the Lord firmly planted the seed of love for Gospel music in his heart. Unfortunately during his twenties he strayed away from the Lord. But praise God Wayne was never out of His reach! He gave him a thirst to be nearer to Him so he rededicated his life and began serving Him by ministering through song. Since that time God has blessed him by opening many new doors and by allowing him to write original songs. Waynes prayer is for the Lord to plant his feet on the road He wants him to travel for His glory.
